Who We Are
Beewear was born from a simple idea — that fashion should mean something. Inspired by the bee, a symbol of awareness, community, and purpose, we set out to create clothing for people who move through the world with intention. Not trend-chasers. Not fast-fashion consumers. People who buy once, buy right, and wear it for years.
Everything starts with the hoodie. We currently offer three styles, each built from premium heavyweight cotton and designed in Canada.
The foundation piece. 14 oz 50/50 ring-spun combed cotton fleece. Pre-shrunk. Built to last. The hoodie that started it all.
Bold logo. Clean lines. Street-ready. 12 oz organic cotton / recycled polyester fleece. Our most premium construction.
Crafted for those who know their surroundings. 100% GOTS certified organic cotton fleece. The orange-on-black colourway is unmistakable.
All hoodies are unisex. Women may prefer one size smaller. Available in XS–XXL.
We do not hold inventory. Every Beewear hoodie is made to order on a pre-sale basis, with a production window of 4–8 weeks from the close of each drop.
This is intentional. Pre-sale means we produce exactly what is ordered — no overstock, no waste, no discounting. It is a slower model, but it is the right one. You wait a few weeks and get something made specifically for you, not pulled from a pile of unsold inventory.
Every decision about fabric weight, construction, fit, and finish is made in Canada. We partner only with vendors who pay fair wages, because how something is made matters just as much as how it looks. The 400gsm cotton we use is heavier than most hoodies on the market — it holds its shape, drapes properly, and lasts for years instead of seasons.
A portion of every Bee Guardian membership goes directly toward bee conservation — funding university research programs and organizations working to protect pollinator populations across North America.
The Bee Guardian membership is for people who want to be part of Beewear before it is everywhere. For $8.99 a month, you get:
Cancel any time. No commitment beyond the month you are in. The membership exists because we want the people who believe in this brand to be part of building it — not just buying from it.
Join the Bee GuardiansBees pollinate over one-third of the world's food supply — yet their populations are collapsing at a rate that should alarm every one of us. Habitat loss, pesticide exposure, and climate disruption are pushing colonies toward a tipping point. At Beewear, we decided from day one that doing nothing was not an option.
That is why we commit 10% of all net profits to bee conservation. Not as a marketing line — as a founding principle. Every hoodie sold, every membership active, every drop that ships moves money toward the organizations and researchers who are actually solving this problem.
We specifically fund university programs and research institutions studying colony collapse disorder, pollinator habitat restoration, and sustainable agriculture practices that protect bee populations. These are the scientists, ecologists, and students doing the long, unglamorous work that rarely makes headlines but absolutely matters. Your purchase puts resources in their hands.
The Bee Guardian membership amplifies this further — a portion of every monthly membership goes directly to conservation, on top of the 10% from product sales. When you join, you are not just getting early access to drops. You are becoming a recurring contributor to the survival of a species that the entire food chain depends on.
